    Volunteer Recruitment Contractor at National Museum of Natural History

    The museum's Branch of Learning Venues and Visitor Experience is in need of assistance with recruitment for its volunteer program, including: assisting with advertising, screening, interviewing, orienting, training, and on-boarding new volunteers; plus data management of paper and electronic volunteer files. The contractor will uphold the museum's philosophy, vision, and core standards for visitor service, which are to ensure that visitors' first and last impressions of their experiences at the museum are positive, productive, and memorable.     The National Museum of the United States Army is looking for individuals who are passionate about the U.S. Army and sharing the stories of the men and women who have worn the Army uniform throughout our nation’s history. There will be a variety of volunteer opportunities, such as visitor services, special events, tours, education, gardening, and administration.
