Getting volunteers, keeping them, and keeping them happy are the main challengers for any volunteer manager. Drawing ideas from a variety of museums, the session presented by AAMV and friends at the AAM 2019 conference in New Orleans (May 21, 2019) introduced a wide range of fresh strategies for volunteer recruitment, retention, and recognition. With a fast-paced presentation and ideas that can be applied by large or small museums, this session is for every institution that utilizes volunteers or wants to.

AAMV members can download the audio at the members-only Volunteer Voices podcast page, and access the presentation slide deck and handout in the members-only section, too.
