    Hello All!

Looking back, it looks like this topic has come up before, but I'm curious if anyone has more to share:

Do any of you offer an "Emeritus" status for volunteers who are reaching that time when they will need to "retire" from their duties, but would still like to be involved with your program? If so, what does that status look like for your organization and what does it offer the volunteer?

Thank you in advance for any insight, experience, or information you can share! Also, may I say how great it is to have a forum where fellow volunteer-coordinating colleagues can raise topics and share info? Kudos to all on your hard work!

    Hi Cristina!

Thanks for posting on the forum! Could you describe the basic structure of your volunteer program/type of museum?

Does anyone maybe have an "informal" or "as needed" emerita program? What are the benefits of formalizing your processes here?

    Thanks,
